Just stopped in for the clam chowder and it was absolutely delicious!
Buffalo burger was great, service was awesome during lunch hours. Definitely would come back again
Visited on a road trip and the food and atmosphere were both fantastic, and the service was phenomenal. After visiting several other restaurants on our trip, this one was by far the best. Our server Nayen was truly a down to earth person, and a breath of fresh air after some of the other places we visited. He did a fantastic job, and everything was wonderful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through.
Good place to eat. Enjoyed the burger!
Not bad. Not a ton of options but for lunch was what I was looking for. Priced a bit high for just 2 waters and 2 sandwiches
Overpriced for the quality of food... However, everything tasted fine. The servers were friendly and efficient.
Food was decent, had elk burger and it came cooked well and tasty. Was a bit overpriced and it's definitely a tourist heavy location
Great food and wonderful service! Fish & chips, pesto macaroni, steaks - they're all amazing! My favorite restaurant in Estes Park!
While I didn't love the look of the place--we only ate there because my son's feet hurt too much to keep looking--and while I think the dishes are a little over-priced, I was impressed with what I ordered. I had the chicken salad sandwich with chips. The bread was a little dry, and I couldn't tell if it was meant to be toasted or if it was stale, and I didn't get an option for whole wheat bread. However, the chicken salad tasted like homemade (but I think it had nuts for those of you with allergies, so be careful), and the potato chips both looked and tasted like they were fried fresh in-house that day. Both were just delicious. I had my mouth full when the manager (I think) came by to ask us how the food was, or I would have told him so.
Shared strips, wings, and had a couple beers which were 2 for 1 happy hour. Kids loved it
Went kinda late, (30 min until closing), but they served us as if we were just on time. The staff was super friendly. The burger was so delicious and the steak was cooked exactly as we asked. If you drink I'd suggest a Mojito to top off your night...or day I dont judge.
Not great. Menu selection is limited, not many good vegetarian options. Everyone in our party found the food to be lackluster. We wouldn't come here again.
The best food in Estes park. Hands down better quality grub then seasons or Claire's. Excellent servic Ed. Best elkl burger. Qorld class onion rings. The raspberry ice tea was delicious.
Great selection of Colorado and local beers*. Friendly staff. Good portions, great tasting food, good value. We were able to watch the Buffs game. They have six TVs, DirecTV Sports package. * I don't drink but my brothers raved about the beer.
Great service and amazing food!
Took about 10 minutes to get drinks. The cheesy fries were descent. The elk burger tasted like fish food smashed together and the bacon was similar to Oscar Myers microwave bacon. To top it off it’s over priced. Do not eat here if you are visiting.
Great service, great food!
The service was excellent, our waiter was FANTASTIC. The portions are HUGE, the fish my husband ordered was as big as the plate. I had the special, Chicken Parmesan and it was soooo good! The kids ordered and elk burger and chicken strips, and those got rave reviews as well!
Food was great and we ate inside with open windows.
After a very long hike in the mountains we were looking for a quick place to eat. Found the service quick, food was fine. However, I felt like where they seated us was a little odd. Granted we were a bit exhausted and not in our best clothing(..I did mention we had been hiking for a while here...) but we were seated far away from other customers. There's nothing unusual about us but even if there was..not cool. It may or may not have been intentional but it was odd and we both noted it.
My first time here, and my burger was amazing, it was the buff burger. Delicious, my mom liked it more than her own dish
Food was good for a reasonable price.
Chicken salad was awesome
We found this to be a great place for lunch after our morning hike. Many of the restaurants are not open until late afternoon. It's located right in the downtown shopping district. Just a block or two from several free parking lots. Typical diner. Breakfast and full lunch menu. Plenty of options for the kids. Nothing fancy but food was good and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. A few arcade games in the back if you want to drop a quarter or two in for the kids. Our group had an Elk burger, fish n chips, and a sandwich (can't remember which 'wich). All of it was good. We left full and on our way to the next stop. Thanks so much!
Mediocre service, Mediocre food. Spent $15 for a tiny elk burger that was supposed to medium but came out well done. Disappointing.
I have no idea why people are rating this restaurant so harshly. We went here twice and had a wonderful experience both times. Very good staff, quality food, clean tables, nothing more we could ask for!
Small local spot for some quick food. Service was great! Not a fancy setting but booths you could just settle down in and relax after walking the strip. We had buffalo and elk burgers. The buffalo burger was great! The elk burger had a little bit too much of a wild game taste for me but it had a unique flavor. It wasn’t bad, it was just different. If you’re in Estes Park, you can’t pass on it though. They had a few games in the back for kids and several TVs around a bar area. Front area closest to the strip was unfortunately all tall tables which rules out the fresh air if you have little ones who may fall off a tall bar stool. Still a fun place with good food and service.
Great food, went out of their way when we mistook the lunch menu out front for dinner and the chefs made my wife the order anyways. Our server was top notch and very sweet. Great selection of beers too.
I just happened to get an amazing waitress that was also from Utah, and she made a special helping of "fry sauce" just for me. Excellent service and great food. Try the Rock Cut IPA!
Seriously the best food we've found in Colorado so far. Wings are a 10/10, and our waiter Nayen was seriously the best we've had on our entire 1500 mile road trip. My friends recommends the Pesto Mac n Cheese and the New York Strip. Will definitely be stopping back bye before we leave Colorado.
Not impressive. Ordered chicken tenders fries and "seasonal veggies" what i got? Cole slaw soaked fries and chicken
Came here before a hike for a Turkey bacon and a chicken salad sandwich. Quick service and fresh. Tomatoes were fresh and the chicken salad was really great. Some people may think it's over priced but it's not that bad considering the location, right where all the action is. Next door it's 6 bucks for one scoop of ice cream. So taking that into consideration the prices arent that bad.
Relaxing. Great food and great, friendly service.
Excellent food and service! Will definitely go back on our next visit.
Nice place. Kind of a 50s style dinner look and feel to it. Service was good. Food was good. Local draft beers were great.
Great food, great place. Couldn't give more than 4 stars though. We were seated immediately which was great, but it took over 5 minutes to even get drinks and they weren't busy at all. But aside from that the food and atmosphere was awesome.
Chicken nachos were the bomb! Great for a quick bite!
Not great. Service was slow and just overall not spectacular. Their food is nothing special and very high priced for the little amount that you get. Was a pretty big let down since the sign outside claims that it is so famous.
The dude who took our order was maybe 20, early 20s.He was freaking the bomb! I've been a waiter. For 2 years actually. He brought us the only above average service in Colorado for the week. I even tipped him $20 for like a $15 ticket. The food was awesome and the people were great. Definitely stop in and enjoy your self and have some drinks. Also if anyone could find out who that awesome server is then hire him to sell you some cars or a house. He will kill it doing anything else in sales. Really good guy.
This place has so much potential! Our service was poor. I had to ask twice for cream in my coffee, my elk burger was too small for the bun.
Great family and friends place. Wonderful service! Beautiful spot
I love Estes Park Colorado. The food was great I had an elk burger it was great. My wife had a regular hamburger that was good aswell. I think it is the views , mountain air, and excellent cooks. That makes everything better.
Very slow. Food mediocre at best. Waiter got my order wrong and tried to argue. Decore of old style diner with slight modern twist. Prices ok
Awesome! Food, service, atmosphere, all awesome!
Best fried fish I've ever had! Super clean and the service was top notch.
The service was great, workers were very friendly. Great happy hour!
When all the other places were filled this place was able to get a scene in no time at all. The food reminding me of diner food. For 6 people we spent approximately $100 with no booze. Nothing wrong with the food But I honestly wish we would have eaten somewhere else.
Oh my god, wonderful place. It was truly amazing. I was only is Estes park for a weekend on vacation. Tried many places while there, this one really stood out. Nice atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, Good food. If you go to Estes, which you should, definitely visit this place. I recommend it highly.
Awesome food. Great service and awesome bartender!
We thought this place was overall good....our service was good...got our food fast...not the fanciest of food but was good. The kids Mac n cheese had red tomatoes in it? My daughter did not like....
